What's up with Dakereon Joyner?

The role for South Carolina football redshirt freshman Dakereon Joyner was tipped off a bit during pregame warmups on Saturday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium.
When Joyner took the field before the 2019 season opener against North Carolina, he went to work with the wide receivers. Joyner was one of the first players on the field, wearing wide receiver gloves, and took passes and worked on moves after the catch. As we reported this morning in our VIP game day scoop linked below, Joyner is expected to work primarily at receiver in this game.
Later in warmups, Joyner was throwing some with the quarterbacks. He did, however, work primarily with the wide receivers.
