Western Australia would lead 2019’s best AFL team out onto the field, with Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe and West Coast’s Shannon Hurn named captain and vice-captain of this year’s All-Australian side.

In what is surprisingly Fyfe’s first All-Australian blazer since 2015, the Dockers superstar and Brownlow Medal fancy was acknowledged for his brilliant season with the captaincy, ahead of the 2018 Eagles premiership skipper.
Hurn was one of an equal-AFL-leading four West Coast players to make the best 22, joined by fellow defender Jeremy McGovern (his fourth All-Australian blazer), forward Jack Darling (first) and on the bench Elliot Yeo (second).
